About Me & My Story

Hi! I'm Katherine Genova, proud owner of Sirens and Sweets, LLC. During the day, I influence young minds as an elementary school teacher, but when school is out, you can either find me outside or in the kitchen. I come from a long line of amazing bakers that helped to foster a love for baking at a young age. While owning a business hasn't always been a dream of mine, it's been a passion project that I've grown into. I want a business that will allow me to create and share my talents with others. One of my favorite things about cooking is how it brings people together, and I want my sweets to do just that- bring everyone together to celebrate life's "sweetest" moments.

The name Sirens and Sweets, LLC comes from my love of sweets and mermaids. I wanted to choose a name that people could easily associate with me, and what better than using my two favorite things? It was imperative that I would own a company that is authentic and allows me to be true to myself.

With that said, I also want to own a company whose mission and vision is centered around helping others. Sirens and Sweets, LLC is currently looking to partner with an organization within the community that supports today's youth and the future of education. Proceeds from each purchase will be donated to support the organization's cause.
